Rust rust rust!

Ohio winters have had thier best on my front end. Ive had the truck a year and the only thing Ive done is put tires on. Reason being Im afraid Ill break something if I do anything to the front end. Ive broken studs on all 4 wheels. The break line fittings are so rusted they dont look serviceable. Same thing with my tierod ends, shock towers, shocks, ball joints, sway bar bushings, radius arms, but the truck is solid and smooth as a rock on the highway but I have a decent ammount of play in the steering. Ive concidered maybe sandblasting my front end since i have one, but I dont know.

I love the truck to death but im contemplating just getting rid of it and starting over with another truck. I dont want to battle the rust and deal with depression when I break something.

Same story down here in Missouri. The winters are bruital on my truck and mine sounds to be in about the same condition as my 94. On that truck I took apart the front end when replacing the ball joints and tie rod ends and wire wheeled everything then painted them to protect from further winter abuse. Salt is murder to our trucks and I feel your pain
