Don't take advice from the saturday morning spike horsepower block TV, they are worse than the newspaper rack magazines and have more commercials.
Keep it stock, maintain it to keep things from breaking, fix the things that break.
This will result in a truck that is reliable, economical, and useful for a long time.
And I'm not trying to sell you something.
The TV shows and magazines are trying.

O yes I am planning on mods. Cam lifter headers the whole 9 yards. I have hadthe truck cents high school. Sold it once and bought it back. But I just think its time to wake it up. I bought a long block a couple years ago and it seemed to me that it lost a great deal of power. So I want some new internals but also keep the efi.

There are a few companies out there supplying hardware for what you want to do. Depending on your skills and wallet it can be done for a reasonable price.
Here are a few links I have collected:
Dunn-Rite MAF Conversion kit
RJM Injection Technologies
The Mass-Air Experts
QuarterHorse for Fords
Tweecer
The first few links are hardware related. The last two are links to sites for programming your PCM.
I have zero experience with any of the companies listed. I do know RJM is the host for the Ford Fuel Injection site we reference on these forums. Do some reading, then make your decisions based on your needs.

IIRC in the 1994-95 era. A link to Ryan's Ford Fuel Injection helps to validate those dates: Ford Fuel Injection Truck Pinouts
