I have a 92 F150 5-speed manual, and I just replaced the bushings on the clutch pedal assembly. I had wired the clutch pedal spring in the compressed position before I removed the pedal, but the silly wire broke sometime during the process. Now, I'm wondering how to compress the spring so I can get it re-positioned in the bracket slot on the pedal. Its a tough bugger, and of course there's not much room to work under the dash.
I thought surely you guys might have some suggestions, and even experienced this situation before.
