Hello guys I have a 1995 ford f250 with the dreaded twin I beam axle. I bought a dana 60 out of a single rear wheel 1995 F350 I think I have all the parts, I just want to make sure that truck did not have a front sway bar. The truck was kinda of gutted and I am just making sure I got it all or at least I hope. I called a junk yard inquiring about the front sway bar and he said that his computer said 1995 only, I asked what that meant and he said looks like 1995 F350 single, rear wheel was "special" or one of a kind. He could not tell me if the truck was suppose to have a front sway bar. I was hoping someone has a 1995 F350 that could verify if it has a front sway bar.
First off thanks guys for the replies. I am considering putting a sway bar on since this truck is used mainly on road, of course I found an Addco one to the tune of $200 really wish I could have gotten the one off the truck, if it had one. As far as the drive shaft I think i am going to have it made once everything is in, basically cut down and modify my old one. I didn't get a chance to get the one from the F350 I got the axle from the trans and motor were missing. Just a side question does anybody know what size socket you need to get the front rotors off the lock nuts that are behind the hubs? I bought one from autozone that was listed on the packaging as the correct one, and it was to small. it was a 66mm with the four prongs. Just curious if anybody knew the right socket to get. I am going to do a lite rebuild basically ball joints tie rod ends and axle and hub bearings.
