390 Engine swap
Hi, new here and have a question about swapping enines.
My 1974 F250 farm truck had a 390 in it, that is beyond tired and worn out.
I can purchase a 1976 F250 with a better 390 in it.
Is it a direct bolt in, any changes in wiring,motor mounts,bell housings,hoses.

Thanx. Both are standards, and both are 390 engines. I pick the truck up tomorrow, and will be removing the engine for a rebuild, then installing it in my farm truck. Also swapping a few other parts, then parking the truck in the yard. Many things will remain, so if some here need a certain piece, you are welcomed to come and get them. Also have the old box, complete with lights, and tailgate still here off of my farm truck. While I am offering parts to those willing to come and remove them, please do not ask me to remove and ship pieces. Come with tools, and take what you need for free, and if you wish to ask what is available, you may send me a PM.
