Surging when accelarating

Can anyone help? I have a 92 F150 with a 4.9L 5 speed and Friday it started that when you shift in to a gear and give it gas it acts as if it's out of gas. I have been getting codes for a lean and rich system. Is this my O2 sensor? help please!
