i was wondering if i could use an f250 springs and shocks on my f150 to raise it, would it work and if it did how much would it raise it, or should i just save up to buy a 4inch lift?
the 250 coils would give you a stifer ride and maybe bring you up a bit, i don't think the shocks are needed to use the coils, and if you are 4x4 then 250 coils would let you run 33's if your 2wd then they would allow 32's
the 4" would allow for 34's i think on a 2wd, on a 4x4 probably 35's
it all depends on what you want, if your looking for level, go the 250 sring route, if you want a lift, then get a lift
i know someone that has a '88 and hes running 33's at stock height. you probably won't like the look of them 31's on it.
this is what i'm doing, im saving for a 4" and 34's to get all at the same time, that way i know i will be happy after i put that much effort into the lift and won't be focused on the fact of how small my tires look, i have mine leveled out and with 31's i think the tires look a bit small
ya thats what i was thinking, i was looking on ebay 600 for a 6inch i might buy as soon as i get the cash and im pretty sure im getting rims for christmas and if i do im saving for tires
I have the tuff country 4in on my truck, i love it, it rides nice, and it bigger. I have 35" tires with different wheels. They are just steel wheels with 4in backspacing. I would recommend different wheels with a bigger offset than stock
