On various other forums, people running the KEM 345 tune are reporting phenomenal MPG - 24 highway, empty, hand calculated. The way I understand it, the tune does not make large boost numbers below 2000 rpms at light throttle.
Spartan is working on a 300 tune that may offer some better MPG from what I've heard.

There is a lot of info on KEMs 345 on Powerstrokenation. com. The below is just one of them and the page you'll go to has an owner stating why that tune is capable of such good MPG. Again, I have no first hand experience with any of these tunes, just found the info very interesting.
