Not to jump the gun too much, but does any one know when the final build date for the 2011's will be and the 2012's will start? Also any known changes? I would like to see the Ford MyTouch system, but I'm guess that will be a few years out.

All I've read so far is what PowerStrokeHD posted a few days ago.
Standard for the auto industry is shipping the new model year for deliveries in September. On the rare occassion that there is a Major change in a vehicle, they sometimes pull that schedule forward.
We saw this with both the introduction of the 6.4 and now 6.7 engines. They stopped production around the 1st of January because of Govt mandated changes and the new vehicles filtered into the channel as New model year products in April May time frame.
In past years, most production lines used to shut down for summer rebuilding of the line. Usually in July. Dies were replaced or rebuilt The assembly line was adjusted to handle what ever changes the new models would bring. And the new model year product would start to roll down the line sometime in August.
2012 is not a totally new truck, So I expect to see it follow the normal model year introduction of being available in Sept 2011
Wow all these guys wanting to wait for a 2012 and I couldn't even wait another month for a Job 2 build! Kudos to your patience. In my defense, I did have an unreliable 6.0 and a camper just sitting in the driveway because of the unreliability of my tow vehicle.
I'll second the My Ford Touch option. That would be reason enough for me to wait, and there's really no reason that can't be integrated into the 12s. In my opinion, Ford has a real competitive advantage there. Anticipating that GM/Chevy will come out with an updated interior at minimum for 2012 with some decent bells/whistles to better compete with Ford, I think Ford will need to do something like integrating My Ford Touch in order to stay one step ahead.
I've been talking to my dealer, my order was finally picked up, but there's no pressure to actually purchase the one I ordered (and I'm content waiting)...he's happy putting it on the lot and selling it. There are a few things I've love to see updated with the 12s. I have nothing against the 11s...best looking/equippped truck out there right now, especially now that monotone leather is an option :-). I started a 2012 wish list thread a while back and there were some great recommendations. It would be great to find out what's happening with the 12s before the final order date for the 11s.
I'm impatient, that's my problem. Actually I bought a Job 1 450 but wishing I had waited for a job 2 350, so trying to decided whether I'm going to re gear to 3.73, try and remove the front flares, and change out the leather seats, or trade it for a job 2 350, or wait and trade for a 2012 350??? If I was patient I'd do nothing to this truck and just wait 5 years or so to sell it.
720deere, seems like people either loved or hated their 6.0. My 2004 trade sat at the dealer forever, and I even thought about buying it back (they made all the repairs to it that was needed!) but of course when I checked back it had sold.

I didn't say I hated the 6.0, quite the contrary for most of the time I had it. I've spent my fair share of time defending the 6.0 on other forums for the last 4 years. Unfortunately I've had plenty of experience with the shortcomings of that motor both on a personal basis and as a fleet manager for a construction company. In the end, you just have to know when to cut your losses and the time had come for me.
