I need some advise I just pulled out a 351w with blowby and a bad head gasket and I replaced it with a 300 inline, Everything transfered well Borg Warner t18 bolted right up only problem I have is my motor mounts are about 4 iinches or so to far forward the drive shaft is in, tranny is bolted on etc. I looked up the year engine which is a 1976 and the 1982 f150 i'm putting it in 2wd motor mounts are same for both years what am I missing here? to make this work.
Damn now I really need advise, I just discovered I used the 351 Windsor manual flywheel with the 28 oz of imbalance, can I offset this, how determental will this imbalance be I use the truck for hauling mostly low rpm stuff but now I'm really concerned.
Has anyone used the wrong flywheel in there vehicle ? I can't be the first.

Reason: needed to add a question
That flywheel will mess up your engine rather quickly.
As for the motor mounts, you need the perches off of a truck that came with a 300. They are brackets that go over the big holes in the crossmember (about where the oil filter was on your 351) with about three bolts (which should already be drilled through the cross member) in each one.
Thanks for help, I already decided to pull engine again and change flywheel. I considered taking a 28oz piece of small flatbar and super glue it to inside of harmonic balancer until i found sopt with least vibration and trim it down a little and weld it in that would offset the 28oz at flywheel just food for thought.
