Looks like they are landing late this year for the 2018 year model.

Hallelujah!! . It's about stinking time!

Can't wait to see the specs on the motor. It can't just be a 6.7 minus 2 cylinders or it'd be a 5.0l diesel.

For the first time in a very long time I may have reason to look at a 150.

I think this is a fantastic choice by ford. I am excited to actually see it!

As a side note, can we not just delete the 4.4 topics and create a new forum instead of just changing the name of this one??

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Seems like the 4.4 section was created after Ford announced the 4.4 going into a F150.

Things changed and that never happened. Now with Dodge and Nissan kicking rear end with MPG's in the half ton market with their diesel engine, it looks like Ford is ready to jump in to keep from losing any more market share.

But it still just looks that way. Wait till they hit the ground before we start talking about the 4.4 threads going away.

I really want to see this!!

I'll be back from my deployment when it comes out so it will be interesting and just may need to get one after a generation passes through it's testing

All new, and not available until the summer of 2018 is a 3.0L Power Stroke diesel based on Ford’s global Lion engine, but engineered specifically for the F-150 in the United States.
