Summer Get Together
I know summer is a busy time, but if anybody is interested in some kind of get together, I would like to hear from you.
Maybe we could figure out a nice central location to meet up.

I'm from NJ, but if you come up with something for the summer, I would be interested. And I don't mind driving an hour or two... or three, if need be. In any case, count me in!

There is the 4x4 jambo in Indy. It's the biggest 4x4 event on the planet (5000 trucks). It's not until the end of the summer though 'September'.
There is the 4x4 jambo in Lima Ohio in May. Attracted over 2000 trucks last year. They are 3 day events. Check out family events for info on those and other events around the country.

$120 in gas? Syracuse is about 150 miles from Buffalo, isn't it? I'm looking at almost double that, so I can't make any guarantees on that one.

As long as it's a weekend and there is a motel around, Im up for anything.
Can't really help on planning to much, cause I am unfamiliar with the area.
It would be cool to get it together, tell the other "close" state chapters see if anybody wants to join in.

Like I've said before, count me in! It's almost impossible for me to get a Saturday off, so if it could be a Sunday I'd appreciate it. Syracuse is fine with me, and Dinosaur BBQ is perfect! Unless of course you'd rather do Heid's in Liverpool- went there many times as a kid. Just keep me posted on date(s), and I'll help out any way I can. Hey- any truth to the rumor that Auburn is getting a Bass Pro Shop?

That is the rumor. So far, they have delayed the opening twice. The latest is early fall of 2003. I've been pacing the floor just in anticipation.

Here's an update on the Bass Pro Shop. Now it looks like the main store will go in the expanded Carosel Center Mall. Fingerlakes might get a small "satelite" store but not the main deal.
