Angry clutch???

i had a brand new clutch (along with a ton of other stuff) installed about 2 weeks ago in my 97 f250 and the truck seemed to work fine until today. i had been driving around town for a while with no problems, i got on the interstate and got about 30 min out of town and i noticed the burning clutch smell stronger than ever. after coming to a stop i realized the truck would barely move. i put it in first which is a really really low gear and was giving it a lot of gas, (about 3000 rpm, stupid but it was in the road) and it hardly budged. it felt like something was holding it back. with as much money as i just forked out on it i am pissed. anybody got any ideas? clutch? tranny? thanks
