Jackpot!
I had been looking for a 429/460 to tinker with for a future install in my 77' F100. I had done the research to find out what I would need to switch to make it work and looking on Craigslist for good deals. Boy did I find one! I found a 1977 F100 Ranger XLT with a 460 and AC. Exactly what I wanted my trucks setup to be. The body is in pretty darn good shape and the engine was running when it was parked two years ago with some tranny problems. I am getting this truck for $500. That is what I was going to pay just for an engine. Now I have a donor truck and my 460. The 302 that is in my truck now runs great but I just want a backup for hard times. I haven't decided about the lower trim or wood grain from the interior yet. It is nice to have options all of a sudden. Just wanted to share my good afternoon with you guys.
