Header bolts
Has anyone used locktite or anything else on header bolts to keep them from loosening up. I've seen the stage 8 bolt kit with the slotted bolts and stuff...but those are 80 bucks for header bolts. Any cheap ideas?

I used locktite on my headders on a 72 390. None came loose, but i never have had any problem with them without locktite. So i guess im not much help either.
Are you having trouble with them coming loose? Ive always warmed mine up good then retorqued them several times within the first couple hundred miles. I do check them when i change the oil, but Ive never had any trouble with them coming loose after the break in period.
