I am only using one right now, for my onboard air compressor. Have my whole truck piped for air, even a place to hook in a hose for airing up my 5th wheel tires if needed.
Plan to use a second on for a larger capacity 110 V inverter.

I used switch #3 for a radar detector (Escort 9500ix) ran wire in headliner down driver side post to upfitter wire. I was going to use a switch for refueling tank in back but used OE switch because of the purge feature which reverses pump to drain hose back in tank.

#1 - on/off ignition source for subwoofer amp
#2 - VIAIR #10007 Onboard air system
#3 - blank
#4 - strobe lights

The Viair system is really nice so if anybody is shopping around, give Viair a look. They have lots of configurations available.

I use the Viair 1007 kit that ruschejj talks about. I believe he has pictures posted some where of his set up. My set up I put my gauges on the overhead console. The specs for the viair are available on several websites. Works for everything I have tried so far. The kit 1007 comes with a 2.5 gallon tank.

Rick, I'm curious about the radar detector hookup. Did you find a different (longer) cord that lets you hardwire it to a power source? I have an escort as well and that sounds like a really good idea.

I just bought the direct wire cord from my local dealer that sells Escort and ran the wire in the headliner and down the post to the #3 upfitter wire.

Rick,

Do you just hook the positive wire to the Upfitter wire? Where you hook the Ground (Negative)?
