Hi all,

I have been in the market for a truck since early summer and after a lot of research I decided on a Ford F250 4x4. Initially I was after a late 70's model but after looking around and considering my price range, tools, abilities, etc.. I decided a later model would serve me better for now. I just dont have the resources to handle a more involved project. Maybe another time.

I ended up picking up a 1988 F250 yesterday (pics in my album) I think it's in very good condition for a 23 year old truck.

Welcome... Nice looking truck. Does it have a 351 or a 460?

Also... if you want people to see your pictures you'll have to post them in the thread. You'll find most guys on here are lazy. LOL

 

I love driving it. It should pull just about anything I need to. I'm not so enthused about feeding it. I suspect it will be mighty thirsty. : )

yeah... it looks really clean and straight. Pretty impressive for its year. My 93 is in good shape but not that good.

The 460 does love its fuel. But its nice to have that extra torque when you need it.

 

It's mint, the interior is in better shape than mine... 460, sounds like so much fun...
