Hi im new to the site . i have a problem with my 79 150 . it has a 351m , it starts just fine ,then shuts off sometimes . and when im driving after its starts the radio shuts off , but if i push the key in with a light touch of the finger . the radio turns right back on , if someone could help it would mean alot . thanks Greg .
The starter solenoid has nothing to do with hot-in-RUN power or the radio. All the starter solenoid does is connect the heavy-gauge starter cable to the battery when you turn the key to START.
