It's a true "labor of love", and I've got (as of today) 1291 others across the country who share the same desire to not have the homeless of this breed go to a premature death in a "shelter" somewhere. We rescued 1777 of them last year.
On average, we spend more on them than we get in adoption fees, so we have to do fund raisers to make up the difference. Our activity at Nationals is only one of them.

Cheryl and I were adopted by 2 Basset hounds this year from a Basset rescue in SLC. I am in awe of the work and love that goes into any rescue. and I'm saddened that anyone could just away fro a being that just wants to love. Blessings on you and your work!
