Just wondering if anyone knows or have seen a farm that is about ten minutes past Blain Lake going north. It is on the left side and has a white picket fence, just before the turn off to Lac la peshe, in the back yard all lined up nicely he has a whole bunch of old trucks and cars, He must have a couple hundered in his yard all untouched. He has so many that even farther behind his main yard in another set of bushes he has started to store some more but they can only be seen in spring and fall when there is no leaves on the trees.
Just curious if anyone has ever seen this, also wondering what he is doing with them all.
Might have to stop in his yard one day and find out

 

He put an ad on kijiji awhile back. I had contacted him when I was looking for my truck. He send me some picture of trucks he was selling and I was amazed by the amount of trucks all nicely lined up in the background.

 

Sounds like youre talkin about good ol Don Poole.... ya not so much collector as well ya....

 

Donn isn`t a collector as such, he brings `em home and then sells `em.
He`s in the process of downsizing. I don`t know if that`ll ever really happen tho, he`s got lots to downsize with.

 

Yep that sounds like him, I always wondered what he was doing with all of them. I thought he was a dealer of sorts, but he never advertiesed on his property that he sold any. I'm still going to have to stop in his place one day just out of curiosity to see them all.

 

he cant be downsizing too much, he bought my 50

the ones way in the back are all parts vehicles and the ones out front he sells complete. im sure i have a photo from the last time i was out there

I just e-mailed him about some body parts for my M-68. I'm hoping he's wanting to downsize by at least a front fender or so.

 

prepare to bust out your wallet, hes not very cheap

 

I know when I was looking for a complete truck, his prices were pretty steep. I was hoping maybe parts were cheaper.

 

not by much, hes a nice enough guy but its a business for him so.....

 

You know that doesn't look like the yard that I am talking about, I am going to be going by there this weekend, I will take some pictures and stop in if he is around and post them by the end of the weekend, just to see if it is the same guy.

I have seen pictures of his place before, he sure has a ton of stuff.

 

Has anyone ever priced out a fairly complete truck from this guy? Whats he want for one? (generally speaking for a price)
