Heated seat doesn't work
2005 excursion limited and the heated seat on the drivers side isnt working. the light comes on when i push the button but it never heats up. anyone else have a problem with these seats or have an idea what i could do to fix it?

A common problem with these seats is that the wires in the heating element break or burn out. You have to remove the seat cover to see if it is. Many times you can repair the break by soldering in a jumper wire. Give this a read https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...ted-seats.html

I have the same problem. Funny thing is I'm having the driver's side bottom cover repaired as my fat butt wore a hole in it from sliding out of the truck. I guess the cost of driving a lifted Ex. Supposed to get done next week. I'll make you a deal if I get to it before you do, I'll let you know. But if you beat me to the punch please drop me a note. Winter is coming and that same fat butt gets cold. lol
