engine cutting out
I have a 2010 F-250, 6.4L FX4, 8500 miles. I have had this happen several times while towing my 9500 pound camper and while not towing anything. While driving on the highway between 60-70 and starting to go up a hill, the truck will start stuttering and like the engine is cutting out or losing power. I have also noticed it will do it if it shifts from 5th to 4th gear and the RPMs are around 2500 while towing or not. it has only done it a couple of times, im just wondering what it could be. I would bring the truck to your frindly dealer and let them sort this out. I'm sure the truck is still under warranty. Is there a way for you to read the codes?
