another oil change question??

ok guys,, i hope this one is not as stupid as my last one. I took everyones' advice and found a 5w40 synthetic. My local walmart didnt' have much to choose from so at the local carquest i found valvoline, same specs. The question is does it hurt to change brands as long as you keep the correct specs. I've heard of people being inlove with a certain oil. Just didnt want it to be soooo wrong if i went with something different next time. thanks. Herb

Nothing wrong with changing brands as long as it meets the CI4/+ or CJ4 specs.

In Virginia you could run 5W40 syn. year round empty or towing.

Saw that my local Wally World had Mobil 1 turbo diesel the other day 5w40. I got mine at carquest but will be buying it at Walmart as it was a much better price.
