Is this an oil pump problem?
damn man carpenter you are stupid so stupid you are stooopid.
when you changed your oil last time are you sure you tightened the oil drain plug?
was there a washer on it? did you replace the washer?
i only ask because on my wifes minivan there was a little paper washer and i fell apart when i took off the plug. well i though it's only paper how bad could it be? yeah the screw had backed off till it was about to fall out
. also did you make sure to tighten down your oil filter? had one feel tight but wasn't once lost a few quarts of oil before i noticed.if none of those is was the problem then sorry to have took up your time. again i mean no offence just looking for human error since we are full of them.
Stupid would be to continue driving the truck, ignoring the gauges and red lights, until the engine grinds to a halt, never to rotate again.
If you did that, then we'll call you stupid.
i just start at the bottom of the issue try the basic stuff first solved a million computer problems by asking did you plug it in? try pluging in again and eject and floppy disk in the computer viola problems solved.
10 30 or just straight 30 weight is recomended for these engines. if you want need to step up to 40 wight then that would be fine too *it will hide some knocks but is too think for winter*
