My son has a 84 F250 4x4. it has a 460 engine with a T-19 4 speed.
The problem is he can't get it gear when its running its like tryimg to put it in gear without pushing the clutch in.
New Pressure plate, clutch, throwout bearing and drive shafts, he's had it apart 5 times but can't find whats wrong, he says that the pressure plate go all the way but it won't let it go in gear.

Hydraulic clutch slave is dying or..it has the wrong pressure plat or throw out bearing.
'80s trucks had firewall flex issues. Add the years and you get rust, and could end up with cracks. As part of running this down, check the master mount as the clutch pedal is depressed, watch for movement. A moving master cylinder will soak up enough travel to reduce movement at the pressure plate enough to cause shifting issues. It will also cause binding and hard clutch pedal movement.
Also check the hydraulic lines for bulges--again, if the line bulges, the pressure is not being applied where it's needed.
Hes replaced the Clutch, Pressure plate, Throwout bearing and Slave cylinder.
he says that when he holds the clutch in, the arm on the throw out bearing pushes all the way.
