i never thought this would work...

years ago when my explorer was my daily driver, me and my dad could park back to back in the garage. well after i bought an excursion that all went out the window. well this year i came up with a plan to keep both our trucks out of the cold and snow!

if we did some tight manuvering(sp) we would be able to fit all the cars in the garage that need to be in there. the '76 vette, '56 chevy, 99 explorer, 00 excursion.

pics are of the whole plan coming together! yes it'll make for tight parking but hey atleast the truck will be 70* well its 10* outside and snowing

with the explorer in place it was time to test fit.

and it fit!!!

Well, you have all winter to draw up plans for building a bigger garage next summer!!!

Nice job fitting it all in, but some breathing room would be very welcome, I imagine.

Could you put the `56 along the back wall under the overhead shelf's? It looks like you could get more door room that way.

no plans for a bigger garage...problem is i bought a huge *** truck haha we'll make it work. we also have 2 40ft con-ex's that we use for storage and have some other classic cars in too.

the vette is the only one that will fit under the work bench. its about 2ft under it as-is. so if we swapped them they would not fit.

we do plan on moving some tool boxes around and crap to make alittle more room for the explorer.

IMO its still better then me having to wake up early and scrape snow/ice off my dads explorer and put it in the garage when i leave for work in the morning.

why dont you talk your dad into buying a stud gun so you can do all your tires over there since you have a heated garage to do it in.
