auto hubs
i still have the crap auto hubs, but my vac lines don't work, is there an easy fix to this? i miss the days of flipping the switch and having 4 wheel drive!! i use mine on the mossy boat ramps most and its nice to just flip the switch and pull the boat up!

The lack of vacuum can be from a few different issues. One is the o-ring seal in the hub. If it is torn or worn you will not be able to get enough vacuum to engage the auto hubs. The lines can also be damaged (split or cracked). Assuming you have good vacuum to the frame rails those are the most common issues. Might take a little bit of time, but a mighty-vac vacuum pump will help you figure out exactly which side it is by isolating them and seeing how much vacuum it will hold and for how long.

It is usually the 221/2inch lines in the wheel wells. Just did mine on my 99 they work great now. You can trace them up fron there. If ac, defrost and heat work well its probably not the vacum switch at the wheel well under the hood.Passinger side.
