1931 FORD TRUCK

All-steel body hot rod is in ‘fantastic condition’ says Racing Junk ad for show-stopping custom Ford truck.

Ever since we attended the “Reclaimed Rust” exhibit at L.A.’s Petersen Automotive Museum a few months ago, we’ve been dreaming of hot rod-inspired trucks, and this 1931 Ford Pickup Hot Rod that we spotted on Racing Junk is certainly a dream ride! This machine is undeniably badass from bumper to bumper. And the awesome flames on the side add another layer of badass, as does the exposed engine and sexy red interior that melds beautifully with the deep rich black exterior. The gorgeous front grille and short bed with wood trim makes sure this “meticulously maintained and garage kept”  Ford truck looks just as good going as it does coming.

“You are looking at an all-steel body hot rod that is in fantastic condition,” says the OP “AutoMarket King.” “The jet black gloss looks incredible as it pairs very well with purple flames and the scheme then flows inside to a lipstick red leatherette interior that aims to please.”

And this head-turner is more than just a pretty face, er grille. It’s powered by a 401 Buick v8 and a beefed-up Buick Dyna Flo automatic transmission, and the build has less than 1,000 miles. “So, you can rest assured knowing you’ll have power and reliability for years to come,” says “AutoMarket King,” who lists the truck’s features and adds that the “vehicle is turn-key and it needs nothing. It did win 1st place in its class at World of Wheels, if that tells you anything about the condition.”
