Was Upcoming 2021 F-150 Spotted in Spy Camo Near FTE HQ?

Shot in L.A. along the Pacific Coast Highway, what is possibly a camo’d F-150 features SuperCab with handles on all doors, roll bar in the bed.

We at Ford Truck Enthusiasts just never know what sorts of cool and unusual vehicles we’ll come across while rolling through the streets near our HQ in Los Angeles. Everything from old-school F-1 pickups to a modded Miata made to resemble an X-Wing (with R2-D2 in the back!) have caught our eye in the past, none out of place on the streets of America’s second home of the automobile.

Sometimes, though, we’ll come across something so amazing, we have to share it with you. The other day, we were out and about on North Pacific Coast Highway in El Segundo when what we believe looks like a camo’d Ford truck was making its own rounds. And although we have zero information on this fleeting find, we believe this looks like the 2021 F-150.

We couldn’t believe it ourselves at first — it’s not often any spy vehicle is caught by us so close to home, let alone what is possibly the next generation of the F-150 — but there it was, rolling down the highway.

Through the lens of our iPhone, we took as many shots as we could of what may be a camo’d F-150 before it took off for its next stop on whatever route it was taking. All we could tell from where we were standing was that this truck had a SuperCab with door handles on all of the doors, something not seen on the SuperCab before.

The other feature we noticed was the roll bar in the bed. Specifically, the roll bar was exiting straight out of the SuperCab just above the rear window, and disappearing into the fenders near the tailgate. The black wheels also had knock-offs on the hub, probably to further disguise the vehicle from prying eyes, like ours.

We can’t wait to see what all is going with this mysterious truck once the camo eventually finally comes off before the 2021 model year begins. In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for any camo’d Broncos in our neighborhood.
