Can’t Afford the Real Deal? Get a Fun-Sized 2017 Raptor!

Your local Ford dealership won’t be the only place where you’re now able to buy a 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. Thanks to Traxxas, you can also head to your local hobby shop and spend a ton less coin.

While you may not be able to fit you and your buddies in this miniature version, you’ll still be able to off-road your heart out, and not pay small fortune if you break any parts while tackling the trails. This radio controlled Ford Raptor may not be the real deal, but it’ll still deliver fun times for about $60 grand less. Just check out this video by, Traxxas.

“The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor from Traxxas captures the off-road attitude and aggressive styling of the full-size Raptor. Officially licensed by Ford, the Raptor gets a new look along with the integrated bumper, molded grill and hood vent inserts, and side-view mirrors for scale appearance. The Traxxas Raptor is based on the award-winning Slash for rugged, reliable real-world performance. Equipped with waterproof electronics, Raptor can take the adventure virtually anywhere—even through water, mud, and snow. The specially tuned Ultra Shocks provide smooth handling even in the roughest terrain. And when the trail opens up, grab the throttle and reach speeds of 30+ mph.”

I personally own a Traxxas Slash, and I’ve been counting down the days until the 2017 Raptor bodies were available for purchase. Remember, you can either buy the whole kit including the radio controlled truck, or you can buy the body only to fit certain chassis applications.

Whichever option you go for, you’ll keep some real money in your pocket and still have a blast!
