Ford Versus Chevy Debate Has Teeth…Leaving One Man with Bite Marks!
We’ve all dealt with a fender bender, and it bites — in this case, literally.
The Ford versus Chevy debate has been increasing in intensity lately. We’ve seen people resort to acts of violence, which is ridiculous. Why fight? We know Ford is always going to win. Sorry (not sorry). But we came across another story where the rivalry got way out of hand.
An unnamed Chevy Silverado driver in Denton, Texas, hit a Ford F-150. Rather than exchange insurance information and carry on with his day, the Chevy driver channeled his inner Mike Tyson.
The driver of the Ford (also unnamed) realized the Chevy driver appeared to be taking off, basically trying to hit and run. The F-150 owner attempted to detain the Silverado driver from fleeing the scene. He reached through the trucks open window to attempt to grab the suspect. And the Chevy driver bit him.
‘The officer observed visible red marks on the victim’s forearm consistent with being bit.’
“[The suspect] bit the victim, who was then forced the release his grip,” said Denton police spokesman Lt. Preston Pohler, according to the Denton Record-Chronicle. “The officer observed visible red marks on the victim’s forearm consistent with being bit.”
A passenger in the Silverado also tried to stop the toothy driver from taking off, and he allegedly grabbed her wrist. Then, chomping at the bit to escape, he took off.
Police caught up with the nipper and arrested him for a number of charges including assault and driving while intoxicated.
The driver, apparently no stranger to the backseat of a police car, has at least six previous arrests for driving under the influence, according to Denton County records.
Okay, we like to tease Chevy, because sometimes they make it so easy. (Yes, we’re looking at you, weird 2020 Silverado grille). But violence is never the answer. If you’re feeling insecure about your truck, there’s an easy fix: Buy a Ford.
