Cubs Pitcher Jon Lester too Busy Modifying Truck to Win at Baseball
What happens when you sign pitcher Jon Lester to your team to the tune of a $155 million contract? He goes out and buys a F-250 to modify, of course!
According to our friends at BoldRide, Lester has a custom F-250 King Ranch, with different wheels and tires. He also sports Rigid Industries’ LED lighting, a big winch for off-roading, a bumper for that winch that includes a brush guard, and a matte black exterior paint scheme.
Supposedly Lester is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hunting and fishing, so this truck will be used for what it’s intended for. However, since he’s pitching for the Cubs, he might want to spend some extra time in the bullpen instead of out fishing.
