Seat Belt Options with Factory Seat

Your truck looks beautiful. Nicely detailed, well done! Based on your desired description, I'm assuming you're looking for lap belts only, not a 3 point shoulder harness as that will be harder to hide. If it were me, (not giving any safety recommendations or legal advice), I'd put the anchors into the double rib area below the gas tank as that's going to be the strongest part of the floor, with through bolts and large, heavy washers underneath, all grade 8 hardware. I would want the belts to come up as even as possible to the back edge of the seat bottom to lessen any slack that might occur in the event of an accident and deflection of the floor or seat frame. This would be easy to roll up and hide under the seat if you were showing the truck someplace where you wouldn't want the belts to be obvious, which sounded like your ultimate goal. Parts like these look like they'd fit the bill. https://www.wescoperformance.com/lap...l%20Ad%20Group

Great drawings Ross! Good advice Wayne about the backing plates. I bought mine cause they came with heavier square backing plates not just round washers.
Also make sure you put the heavy buckle part of the lap belt on the inboard side of the bench seat. In other words the latching female part of the seat belt buckle put that on right hand side as you are sitting in he truck. The reason why I say this is when you get in and out of the truck if you put the heavy buckle on the left side it will tend to come out with you and fall out of the cab and constantly bang on the running board. Ask me how I know this! Im in the process of re-doing my lap belts this year. I found some old NOS early FoMoCo seat belts. Going to make that switch myself.
I added some seat belt tensioners to the belt. Its keeps the belt neater on the seat. Seat belt tensioners can still be bought new or you can find old NOS ones on eBay. They're basically all the same.
Also another piece of advice get the longer belt option, as the truck bench seat sits rather higher than most classic car seats and you will need the extra length just going from the floor up the top of the seat.
