Vintage Fords to Take Spotlight at Classic Auto Show in March

The largest three-day indoor classic car show in the U.S., the Classic Auto Show will showcase more than 1,000 cars, including never-before-seen exhibits and private collections. Over 40,000 classic car enthusiasts are expected to attend.

This year’s auto show includes many new exhibits, including showcases focusing on these specific vehicle types:
- Hot Rods: featuring famed car collector Bruce Meyer‘s Doane Spencer Roadster, Pierson Brothers’ 1934 2D coupe, and the So-Cal Speed Shop Belly Tank. Several prominent SoCal clubs will also showcase their prized rods, including the Sultans Car Club of Long Beach, Wild Bunch Car Club, Hot Paint Restorations and Road Kings of Burbank.
- Lowriders: starring the world’s most iconic lowrider, “Gypsy Rose”
- Porsches: including an appearance by “Urban Outlaw” Magnus Walker, who will take part in the Vintage Culture “Mash-Up” panel that will bring together several distinct perspectives on the collector world. Plus, the Petersen Automotive Museum will showcase several significant cars celebrating the marque’s 70th anniversary. - Citroëns: The Mullin Museum will provide a select group of Citroëns from founder Peter Mullin‘s private collection.
- ‘Women ‘n Wheels’: The show’s first-ever “Women ‘n Wheels” display will feature a special car corral of classics, panels highlighted with an appearance by motorsports legend Lyn. St. James, and All Girls Garage‘s Lateiner and DeBarros. Special car exhibits will include Lateiner’s all-female build titled the “Chevy Montage,” and the “Grease Girl’s” Ford Falcon project.
Plus, there will also be new exhibits spotlighting Japanese classics and vintage offroaders.
The 2018 Classic Auto Show will also see the unveiling of a 1967 Camaro project car built by The Skidmarks Show host Jeff Allen. On March 3, Overhaulin’ star Chip Foose will be stopping by the event. Legendary wrestler Bill Goldberg will be present on March 4 to show off one of his rides and meet with fans. All Girls Garage hosts Lateiner and DeBarros will be on hand all three days, to share tips and talk shop with fellow auto enthusiasts.
Plus, the team from Jay Leno’s Garage will present detailing demos at their booth, with comedian/car collector Jay Leno expected to make an appearance on March 4, too.
