When you think about Bigfoot, you probably think of deafening noise and junk cars getting crushed. You probably don’t think of electic motors, but I saw this zero-emissions monster truck at SEMA, and thought it was pretty cool. Motivation comes from a hand-built DC motor built by Electrified Motorsports which gets its juice from 360 volt system comprised of 30 batteries, and there are an addition six to handle the electric steering and brake pumps.

While it’s unconventional, there’s nothing hippy-dippy about this electric vehicle. How awesome would it be to rip down one of California’s HOV lanes in one of these babies? Check out more pics below.
