Texas-based tuning outfit PaxPower has unveiled the 2021 Alpha F-150 which has been designed to rival Ram 1500 TRX and HPE’s Venom 800.

The latest installment of America’s best-selling pickup truck is already getting a lot of attention from tuning houses. Hennessey Performance Engineering recently introduced the VENOM 800 performance pickup which is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 motor. Now, fellow Texas-based tuning outfit PaxPower has unveiled its souped-up version of the 2021 Ford F-150 which is called the Alpha F-150.

The company has redesigned the pickup truck while making serious considerations to enhance F-150’s off-road capability. The front-end of the Alpha F-150 is dominated by a sturdy steel bumper that gets an integrated LED light bar. According to PaxPower, the LED units will last as long as the pickup truck. The tuning house also swapped the stock hood for or a Ram air unit that has been designed to funnel air into a 3-inch Whipple supercharger.

PaxPower modified the stock fenders which are now 3-inch wider to accommodate Alpha F-150’s 17-inch alloys that are wrapped in 35-inch off-road tires. The tuning house also swapped the stock suspension setup with control arms and axles from the second-generation Raptor. The outgoing Ford Raptor also shares its brake lines, leaf springs, and steering links with the Alpha F-150.

The all-new Alpha F-150 runs on Fox Racing shocks that come equipped with internal bypass technology. We find Ford’s 5-liter Coyote engine under Alpha F-150’s Ram air hood. PaxPower claims that Alpha F-150’s supercharged powerplant is capable of producing 770 HP of power and 675 lb-ft of peak torque with the help of the 8 pounds per inch boost that is generated by the Whipple supercharger.

PaxPower’s pickup also comes equipped with a performance exhaust system. It is obvious that Alpha F-150 has been designed to rival the likes of Ram 1500 TRX which is powered by a Hellcat-derived 6.2-liter supercharged engine that puts out 702 HP and 650 lb-ft of torque. The styling updates offered on the Alpha F-150 include PaxPower decals and cost $6,950, and the supercharger package will set customers back $12,450.

The company also offers performance packages for the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 and the 3.0-liter Power Stroke V6 turbodiesel. The updated EcoBoost motor receives a larger intercooler and cold air intakes. PaxPower also recalibrates the EcoBoost engine to produce 500 HP and 625 lb-ft, and the same upgrades bump the power of the V6 diesel up to 400 hp and 610 lb-ft.
