Mega Raptor a Seriously Carnivorous Diesel Truck Conversion

MegaRexx’s Ford Raptor conversions unleash a ferocious and punishing beast.

When it comes to tough-as-nails trucks, the Ford F-150 Raptor is hard to beat. The Raptor has earned its rep as a high-performance pickup that flexes a muscular ride with major horsepower. Noted for its off-road chops and luxury amenities, it is hard to find fault with the Raptor. Well, except for that price tag.

Now–as we know–truck conversions can be tricky. Turning a diesel Ford truck into big ol’ beefy Raptor is a feat. But when a big idea for a conversion comes together–it can be amazing. Exhibit A: The Mega Raptor.

Texas-based MegaRexx Autoplex has taken Raptor conversions to a whole other level. They call it, “Texas-sized.” In other words, they go big. These ambitious builds kick up the power, and give the pickup a new sense of purpose…and menace. Don’t mess with Texas, indeed.

First off, oh yeah–they look really cool. And we have to give props to AutoRexx for such clean work. But, the AutoRexx Mega Raptor build runs on purpose–performance. All conversions start out with the heart of the Raptor’s power. They build from diesel Ford trucks with a 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel engine. Next, the builds incorporate a number of modifications.

Upgrades include rebody kit, Bilstein or Fox shocks, Icon lift, gears, 46″ tires, and more. Depending on the build, they add custom bumpers, lighting, body work, Raptor grille, and more. Custom paint and cutting-edge technology finish it off with perfect polish and luxury.

Seeing the difference between a stock Ranger and the MegaRexx Mega Raptor definitely gives us a sense of just how big n’ juicy this monster is.

We are definitely impressed by this fully capable bad boy. And check it out in action off-road.
