Ford Truck Enthusiasts forum member is selling a Ford 391 crankshaft that ‘has been sitting in a wood crate for a few years.’

If your next project calls for a crankshaft, you’re in luck if you reside near NorCal’s Bay Area. Forum member “Decaruby” is selling a Ford 391 crankshaft that came out of a motor purchased just a few years ago.

“I didn’t know the difference between the FE & FT motors,” says Decaruby in the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Marketplace post. “I since rebuilt the block with a standard 390 FE crank, but have this item left over, and it has been sitting in a wood crate for a few years now.

“If I recall correctly, the bearings that came out were 0.020/0.020,” he adds. “Full disclosure, I have not had this crank inspected, but visually appears fine.”

Decaruby is asking $150 and respectfully asks that if you are interested in scoring the part for your own project that you “please do your homework and understand there is some machine work that needs to take place for this crank to fit up correctly.”

He’s also willing to lower the asking price if you can pick up the crankshaft in the Bay Area. Check out Decaruby’s full ad here.
