A Broad Range of Powerful Engines to Get Things Done

Ford's Super Duty has always been defined by its power, and the 2023 Super Duty is no exception, thanks to a choice of engine options:

  • An all-new standard 6.8-liter V8 gas engine with more low-end torque.
  • A revised 7.3-liter V8 with improved horsepower and torque.
  • An improved 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel that can go longer intervals between oil changes.
  • A new high-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo-diesel that is expected to deliver the best horsepower and torque in its class.

In addition to these powerful engines, every 2023 Super Duty comes equipped with Ford's 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is now standard on XLT models and above.

New Ford Pro Upfit Integration System

The new Ford Pro Upfit Integration System (UIS) is a game changer for customers who rely on body equipment and up-fits like utility cranes or plows to get the job done. This technology provides aftermarket equipment makers with improved access to Super Duty’s electrical system to integrate and operate their accessories using the Super Duty's digital displays. The UIS is connected by cloud-based software, allowing equipment makers to update functionality and control from inside the truck. The system also provides high levels of customization and safety interlocks, like preventing the transmission from shifting into drive with a raised boom lift.
