Here is a view of the radiator sitting slightly forward with the inner fan shroud removed. You can pull the four plastic clips (another thing that annoyed the hell out of me because I broke two of them) that hold down the cover that goes over the radiator saddle to reveal the battery cable that crosses over between the two batteries. Cut the B.S. tape that holds them to the "T"-shaped plastic clips and pull the cable up and hang it over the radiator - WHY do this?? Answer: it allows you to set the radiator about 1/2" foward to make removing the inner fan shroud easier...otherwise it is difficult to slide the fan shroud out due to the nipple for the hose to the degass bottle and the two protruding areas where the 8mm bolts go that hold the top of the shroud to the radiator saddle.
