Problem with heated/cooled seats on remote start

Has anyone had an issue with their heated/cooled seats on remote start? I noticed that 10% of the time, the cooled seats turn on when it's freezing outside; that's when the heated seats should be on. Might be a software glitch, going to drop it off to service next week.

One thing I also notice about the 2017 f350 is that the rear leaf springs drop much more than my 2011. I guess it's ok because I was concerned about bed height clearance with my fifth wheel.
It sags but at least the height matches the fifth wheel

Yes, if it were me, I'd live with the sag, as it appears your trailer may be a bit nose high anyway? Could be how/where you are parked.....

The trailer axles have already been flipped, next step would be to put blocks, but I'd rather keep the height stock and get better mpg. Even though the new f350 sags compared to my 2011 (thinner leaf springs) ride quality is much better empty and loaded.

In 2,800 miles my cooled seats have turned on twice for no apparent reason. I noticed as the fan is quite loud. Freaky glitch but not so annoying that I would risk letting some dealer service knucklehead wrench on the truck.

I agree with you, I was on the fence about dropping it off to the dealer. But it's new and under warranty, so if there's a simple software glitch that can be fixed, I'll keep people posted on any updates

Just as another data point. Mine does the same thing as well. It doesn't seem to have any pattern. I have only had the truck a few weeks and it only has 350 miles.

I figure Ill wait for a few of these things to stack up and take it in once the dealers have their legs under them with the new trucks.

Mine do the same, like Coolidge says the fan is pretty loud but I use it as a reason to turn up some Zeppelin

Mine has done this once. It was 40 or so out the other day when I remote started. I was wondering what the blowing sound was when I saw the blue lights on for the seats. Oh well..no big deal. That is literally the first "issue" I have had and I really don't consider it a real problem. I feel like this is one of the little bugs that will get worked out in a re-flash.

What setting do you have configured under remote start menu for temperature? May have something to do with it.

Can you set it to HEAT only instead of auto? You can always change it in summer.

What is the pin weight of your camper. I have a 38' toy hauler with a pin weight of 3300#s and was hoping I would not need to re-install my air bags on the F-350 we ordered.
