OE Part Numbers

Being as how Number Dummy (Bill) seems to be quite popular right now, if I may impose on him without calling him Shirley .
I'm looking for the correct part numbers for the front inner and outer wheel bearing sets for Blue Ox. Help would certainly be appreciated...
1984 TTB 302 C6 Quad Shocks.

I hope this is legible enough.

VIN, none of the above codes will be any help. With 4WD, these parts are listed in the front driving axle parts lists, and there's a gazillion different parts lists!

So I need the front driving axle ID tag code. Tag will be under one or two of the bolts that retains the inspection cover to the housing.

Yeah... if this is one of those Parts List things (and I think it is) it becomes problematic to look up in the books, it's not like you're filling out a simple Web form.

Whiz back to post 2, I just posted a pic of the part list applications. No axle code, no lookee.

IOW it's a significant, time-consuming PITA.

Don - you might investigate the aftermarket first (e.g. the commercial chain store web sites), they organize information in more modern formats over there and can offer some quick & dirty, general information.

I found out that it is a PITA as i looked to the aftermarket before starting this thread. I greatly appreciate the response Bill and Chris....tomorrow's weather looks to be favorable so i will crawl under and look for a tag on the front differential in the morning. Fingers crossed that it is there as the right front bearings are causing serious vibrations, resonating throughout the cab at 60 to 65 mph, worsening on left curves, diminishing on right curves, not to mention the possible failure scenario at those speeds. My ears are ringing by the time i get home from work from the 40 minute commute
Every component, sans the wheel bearings and locking hubs have been replaced. I'll look into sourcing Automotive Distributors Warehouse (for Motorcraft replacements) as well. I will update the thread, as Blue Ox is going up on the lift tomorrow afternoon.

I have, and they have given "some/dirty" information. Lord knows I hate dealing with the unsuspecting High School student working part time as a parts counter person at the local parts store when i have to reach over the counter and turn the screen towards my side of the counter, to source the parts that i need. Whats worse...Show me the shelf, take me back, so I can compare the part for myself by opening boxes. They have no concept.
What's a bearing measurement ?
That was not a question....that was sarcasm...

The bearings and bearing cups have BIN's (Bearing Industry Numbers) stamped on them.

BIN's are what auto parts stores and bearing shops go by.

I can cross the BIN's to Ford part numbers and vice versa.

Hopefully when removed, there will be a recognizable BIN. With the high vibration as of late...i doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't rubbed/worn clean.
The PO of Blue Ox (Babe) rode her hard and hung her up wet with absolutely no remorse. There should be a law against this type of behaviour !
At times, i feel as though i saved her from a cruel owner who put nothing into her but expected everything out of her and when she just couldn't...the PO put her up for sale. No more...Babe shall ride with pride ! She will be the the Ox that she was meant to be ! She has a tough skin and solid bones.
