I have a stock (no lift) '76 f250 ranger 460. I want to upgrade the tires. What is the biggest/ best size tires I can fit without any modifications?

Is this a stock with no lift 2wd or 4x4? Pretty hard for anyone to give you recommendations without that bit.

Also, biggest and best for what? Off roading? Drag racing? Camping? Let us know what you're going to do with the truck and I'm sure there will be plenty that chime in.

It is stock 2wd. I'm looking for moderate all terrain tires on 15 inch rims.

I've never heard of a 15" on an F250 either, on my '79 they wouldn't clear the calipers up front.

I have 265/75/R16's on mine. I like the size for a stock 2wd, it measures out to roughly 31.5" tall.

@Joshua Jackson you have wondered into the 73/79 truck forum. You'll get more help in the "Newer Light Duty Trucks" Forum and clicking on the 04-08 F150 section (or click here)
