Question for the parts gurus

I'm trying to find tan replacement kick panels for an 84 f250.

Every Google I've tried has me thinking they're harder to find than proper dash pads...and the solutions it does give me look like door cupholders.

I'm looking for the part that's under the dash over by the e-brake.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Ford F250 Interior Kick Panel Left Driver Side Tan 84 85 86 F150 F350 Bronco | eBay

Non-tan ones can be painted. Search for forum threads regarding SEM paints.

Cool, thanks.

Do you know if those are 80-86 specific parts, or do the 87-90whatever pieces fit also?

I'm trying to hunt down and order parts for a truck that's 3 hours away. Makes it kind of hard to go look.

I'm not sure that the advertised panel is the one you want. But it might well be.

The part we are looking for should be 02345, meaning it is the left mate for 02344 shown below. Unfortunately I cannot find a single entry in Ford's master parts catalog for that part number for 1980 - 86 F or U (full-sized Broncos) series trucks.

So, I can neither confirm nor deny that the advertised part is correct for that truck. But, it sure looks like it is.

There are different ones depending on if factory A/C was installed or not; those without factory A/C had built-in vents that could be controlled by a manual slider lever, those that came with factory A/C were just solid panels and that air circulation was disabled.

Those things in that eBay post look kinda odd and aren't really what I'm expecting to see.

This is the "kick panel" I envision:

I haven't looked in the Text section of the manual but the Illustration section says 1980/86 which implies 1987+ are different somehow.

Chris - I pulled one of mine off the shelf today and compared it to those pics - and it was a perfect match.

Also, see if you can find them in the text section of your catalog, please. I can't, but maybe I'm missing something. Or, maybe my catalog is?

Here ya go, Gary, two attachments (I'm using a Windoze laptop on the kitchen table, not my usual dual-head Linux box upstairs in the loft and so life is more difficult).

Chris - Thanks, but we are talking about two different things. You are talking about the vented kick panels and the one David found is the non-vented. And it is the non-vented ones, #'s 02344 and 02345 that I can't find in the text section for the 1980 - 86 trucks. They are there for the A's, B's, and R's, and the later F's and U's, but not our trucks - at least that I can find.

I think I found the same thing you did - I can find them for 1987 but not for our 80-86 range. I vaguely remember The Mastah @NumberDummy explaining this kind of thing, I think it involved looking up the specs for a later model and then calling the corporate offices to figure out the remainder... something like that, maybe he will arrive and explain...

Yes, David, Beauty Sleep, wish it did what it claims.

Seems to be a whole set of sections missing. Oh well, thanks anyway.

As for the beauty sleep, it wasn't in my case either. Feel worse this morn than I did last night, but that appears to be par for the course on whatever illness it is that I inherited from my son.

Gary, my dad told me that one knows one is getting older when it takes longer to rest-up than it took to get tired!

I like that! Our fathers had much wisdom.
