I got a 30" LED light bar in want to install between tow hooks but there is two pieces of plastic in the way. Has anyone removed or cut these to install light bar there??PS No sensor there...
Thanks
While we are talking... I can't find the upfitter switch wiring under the right side passenger floor panel area. I found alot of snubbed end wires, but none match the color coding from the box (or in the manual). Any ideas?

Under the hood drivers side behind a small relay fuse box.
I had the single row Rough Country behind the grille on my 2016 Denali and liked it. I just looked at my 2017 F250 Lariat grille and it looks like you'll have to trim plastic pieces no matter what. Even though the lights will shine through the 1.25" gaps nicely, there isn't enough room for the housing to recess behind it adequately. Because of that, I'll probably trim off the lower two skinny chrome prices entirely and fit a dual row, possibly 40". It appears as though it should fit with minimal trimming and a very clean look. Personally I don't like hacking up a grille or the looks of a poor job especially if it compromises the structural integrity of the grille but it looks like it can be done. I drive pretty fast and there's a lot of wind resistance on that giant grille, I don't want it flying apart!
Pulled the grille off today and I don't think I'll be able to mount it where the thin chrome prices are as thats where the clips that hold the grille on are located. Looks like either between the tow hooks or 2 smaller (10") lights in the middle gaps on either side of the large Ford emblem. To be continued.
I don't think you'll be able to fit it without eliminating tow hooks. Here's a picture of another member's 30" on the top of the bumper. The mounting arms are into the space occupied by the hooks.
