I totally agree. I use 15W-40 diesel oil and wix or motorcraft filters. Rotella is usually the easiest find, as nearly everyone carries it.

I'm one that will not touch a fram oil filter. I've had people try to tell me they are fine, but I've seen one that ruined an engine. I believe in the adage of "screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me".
