What motor do you have and what year is the truck?
The Edelbrock stuff is equally overpriced for what it delivers on a stock bottom end, the very first things that should be upgraded on these trucks are the exhaust and cam.. especially if you have a 5.8. For the most part changing the intake is a waste of $$ though heads are a good idea with the 5.8 as well. BUT.. the sum of all the changes has to stay within the limits of the stock EFI system(~300hp) and that is actually pretty easy to reach. That is unless you have a mass air truck which will tolerate more or you have emissions tests to worry about, then you may have to scale back your goals somewhat.
