Pull out the SPOUT connector-shorting bar by the distributor.
Hook timing light on number one spark plug wire.
Loosen the distributor hold down bolt.
Start the engine and turn the distributor until the pointer points to 10* BTDC.
Tighten the hold down bolt and recheck.
Put the SPOUT back in and remove the timing light.
This says 5.0 but your 5.8 is the same.
