If you want to look into shocks, look at this site Rancho, Bilstein, Pro Comp and Fabtech Shocks

They are nice enough to give you dimensions on different shocks if you think you find the correct model number. You can also look around here since Rancho is a sponsor here. They have someone who has been quite helpful in the past trying to help find shocks for odd applications.

He helped me find a longer shock that would possibly work with the standard mounting configuration, but the shock proved to be too long for the rough roads I travel. Bottoming the shocks out proved to be the end of them.

Many others have had no issues at all just running the stock 2wd front shock. As usual, I wasn't one of the lucky ones.
