No, that TBM is the one I restored aboard the HORNET. It was a COD till 1956 when it was retired to become a California fire bomber in 1960.

Is that the TBM at Pensacola? Pretty cool museum. Whent down there to see a girlfriend who was going to school there when I got a 96 hour Liberty from Camp LeJeune in I think '85 . The museum had a scoreboard of the hornet there. Pretty Impressive My dad was on CV10 about '54 '55 discharged from the Yorktown in Bremerton. I wish I went to see the Yorktown when I was in the Marines. A Gunny in my Battalion was in the decomissioning ceremony on the 10. My dad missed movement in Manila so they flew him to the ship on a Turkey. TBM's in the 1950's were used as shipboard
